"When Nantucket Lighthouse School undertook the Nantucket License Plate project, it did so with great ambition and with the knowledge that it had a very long road ahead. With no assurance of success, we committed time and resources to the effort and worked to build support and collaboration among other island non-profits working with children. It is because of the collective efforts of Nantucket Lighthouse School’s faculty, staff, Board and families, as well as our 18 non-profit partners that we were successful in bringing a Nantucket plate to the island, and a perpetual stream of revenue to children’s programs. What a great day for Nantucket children and what a wonderful gift to this community!"
- Emily Miller, Head of School, Nantucket Lighthouse School

"The Nantucket License Plate Project has been a godsend to our small nonprofit organization. With the monies provided under this unique community effort to help our children, we as the Parent/Teacher Organization for the public schools, have been able to provide programs that touch the educational lives of nearly all of our 1,600 public school children, children who come from a diverse universe of island families. Thank you to all those who honor this magical island by showing your love for it, and our children, on your license plates!"
 - Marian Wilson, President, Friends of Nantucket Public Schools

"When the Nantucket License Plate Project began, we had no idea how much fun it would be and what  an impact it would have on our church and community. At First Congregational Church we are pleased to be a partner in helping make this project a success. The license plates have brought all of us together in a visible expression of our love for our island, and the proceeds have had a profound impact on the lives of people. Because of the extra income generated by the Nantucket License Plates, our church has been better able to serve the needs of our entire community by supporting outreach programs and events that serve all. Thank you for the privilege of being a partner in this project that benefits everyone!"
The Rev. Dr. Gary Klingsporn, Senior Minister, First Congregational Church in Nantucket

"The Nantucket License Plate funds have helped Nantucket Community Sailing provide sailing scholarships and free community outreach programs to the children of Nantucket. At NCS we believe that sailing empowers children of all ages and abilities to develop the confidence and leadership skills necessary to help navigate through life’s challenges. The Nantucket License Plate funds facilitate our ability to partner with other island non-profits to provide access to more children."
- Diana Brown, Nantucket Community Sailing

"A Safe Place, Inc. is thrilled to be partnering with the Nantucket License Plate initiative. The funds our organization receives through this project supports services for children to help them heal from the trauma of witnessing or experiencing domestic abuse. The initiative also gives us the opportunity to learn more about the mission and programs of each partner organization, thus opening the door to  collaborate programmatically for the benefit of all Nantucket children."
- Sue Mynttinen, A Safe Place Nantucket
